Brexit shaking things up.

If we didn't think Brexit was shaking things up and getting conversations going - admittedly the same converstion - deal or no deal - it seem that many didn't understand the shake up that it was sure to bring.

The EU referendum was about staying in or leaving and leaving would shake things up, but no one saw how much. The policitical landscape is now changing. Forever? Not sure about that once thing shave settled down I would imagine the 2 Main Party returning to staus quo but in the short term things are not looking good for the 2 main parties, unless they change.

With MP's announcing this week, from both parties, that they were leaving the Main Parties that they belonged too - Labour and Tories, things have taken a different turn. The conversation isn't about deal or no deal but also can these group of Independent mp'S now shake parliamnent up?

If the turmoil. goes on for a few weeks and both main parties falling out then it sure that independents have a real game changer in the Local Elections up and down the Country. The elctorate wouldn't simply just vote for any independent that stands they would have to put the foot work in, which is hard work, but it could pay dividends if they did.

With regards the Independent how can Ex Tories and Labour come together because they surely are socilaists and conservative views mixed together, which in terms makes you a Lib Dem - all things to all people? What is probably right to mention these MP's haven't joined the Lib Dem and that would suggest the Lib Dems are now insignificant if a group of Independent MP's equal your numbers as a National Party. And if rumours are true that more MP's will leave the 2 main parties and join the Independent Group then they will be actually bigger than the Lib DEms.

Labour are calling for the MP's that have resigned to stand down and call a by election, the obvious call, not sure I agree but what I do agree why not have the right to recall your local MP, or Cllr that does this if enough people sign a requistition? Interesting!

As I say going forward the Main Parties are going to be in for a hell of a ride in the Local Elections, although Brexit would have happened by then, by guess a no deal default, and would things have settled down or will the main parties still be in fighting and resigning? As Terry Pratchett said - Interesting  Times.
