I am sad to report that whilst out enjoying a quiet drink with friends today in Standish..... strong language coming up....that some mindless idiots spoil it for everyone.
I was out with Mrs F and friends and apparently, some guy asked some other people for a cigarette they decided to beat him up outside the Globe, so I heard whilst out and about in the village.
When we went into the Globe it was rammed and full of undesirable people. So we all decided to go elsewhere. Whilst there we heard that the Globe had been closed off due to this incident
Standish has always been a nice area and now look at this. Unbelievable and this is why we need more police on our streets.
I have heard two different stories and this has ruined peoples lives, never mind weekends. For the mindless idiots, they should be jailed and throw away the key.
We need our Police station back open and Police back on our streets this is crazy!
