6 weeks away - then what?

So at the beginning of this pandemic, I said that the recession that would come after the issue would be far worse than anything we have seen - Ever! For those that remember 2008, this will be far worse than that.

The Government always knew this and still does and treating us like fools. Yes, their first priority has to be the virus itself to save lives. That is not going well seeing as the Government didn't lock down soon enough and allow Cheltenham Races and other so to allow the spread of the virus. remember herd immunity wanting to get 6% of us to have the virus?

In May of this year, we should have had Local Elections and the Electoral Commission asked the Government for a 6-month delay. The answer finally came back saying it will be a 12-month delay till next May.  I believe this be for two reasons. First the health issue - this could be that we are still in lockdown. How likely that is is not that high given that other countries are now relaxing restrictions and also given the time gap you would have hoped the Government and work could have come up with other answers than lockdown. But never the less a possibility - no matter how remote.

But the second reason is for how much the Tories would take a battering at the polls given they know the outcome of this pandemic is one huge recession with mass job losses and failed businesses. Therefore the max they could have asked for was 12 month and hope some people be less likely to go out and vote against them. It would not be good for the Tories to get a hammering at the polls after such a huge success last December's general election.

Now the Chancellor is finally saying that he cannot save every household and business and there will be a disappointment after this is over. Here comes the drip-drip of trying to prepare the country for the disaster after. I have read a report on the BBC news site saying that it will be the worse financial disaster since the 1930 depression, and they could well be right.

Not very comforting for people and families but the Government should be open with us and should have been from the outset.

6 weeks away

When this lockdown started the Government stepped up to the plate and gave a range of things to help people this included furlough wages and 3 months mortgage holiday payments. Great something that was needed and required. But at this time all we seem to hear from the press is when will lockdown happen? One serious question that is not being asked what is going to happen in 6 weeks when the furlough wages stop and mortgage payments are due back. Millions of people will be affected but what is the Government going to do then? Drop everyone in it? Residents and business alike?  They should be telling people now what will happen in 6 weeks and what do they plan?

Uncertain times but some things never change

So followers of this blog will know the ongoing running investigation that goes on into the corrupt Greater Manchester Police officer(s) and Donna Hall.

After the monumental issues that I, and others have raised, evidenced and witnessed you would have thought that given that GMP ould just be quiet. Given what is also happening in the Country right now you'd have thought the police all over the country would be moving into issues relating to health and serious crime.

Some may remember the article in the Times where it is described that Donna Hall - sacked Ex Chief Executive of Wigan Labour-run Council would have just slopped off with her tail between her legs. As for Greater Manchester Police, you would have thought they would have thought thank god that is all over and we are just running a mop-up (investigation) of what took place and why.

But no you'd be wrong. There is an infamous line one Tony Blair aids said on 9/11 - it is a good day to bury bad news. Well for Donna Hall this means it is a good day to do business as usual as no one is watching. She'd be wrong!

I not only get many readers of the blog - which I thank you for - but I get many people contacting me over numerous issue. On such person, I will call D. D has contacted me in the past and was a person that was at Woodend and says they were a victim of the abuse of a care home that was run by Wigan Council. Lemn Sissay was another person that also spoke out about this facility. My first blog post was back in 2014 and here is that story.

D, contacted me again the other day and they now live outside of not only Wigan but outside Greater Manchester too. Anyway, I hear there is a private Facebook group and D is part of that group. Last week they made reference to what Donna Hall had done to me and others. I would refer you to the GMP run for the hills post here. Within 60 minutes, that is right within 60 minutes their local police force in the different part of the country was knocking on their door.

They claim that their comments about Donna hall could amount to Harassment, sound familiar? Anyway, they told them about the story and they were a victim and had legal representation and the police went away.

D, said they believed that Donna hall would have got the local cops to get their house. I disagree. I suspect that she yet again rang her dodgy bent copper friend in GMP and they, in turn, rang the police force local to the person and asked them to go around. So it would seem that Donna Hall is using GMP still as her private police force and she got sacked for her high profile bollocking by the High courts and asking millions of Taxpayers money. The question is if she is pulling these favours still, she either has something on a high ranking GMP officer that seriously risk it all for her or other favours are being pulled in other areas.

The new information I have will be put into the right arena and brought to the right people's attention. We will await the outcome of what happens with the info but if Donna Hall seriously believes she can continue to bully others by using dodgy bent coppers and try and silence her critics. She'd be wrong! She owes all the money that she misused for herself to be paid back. Money that a judge ordered HER to pay, not the taxpayers of Wigan. Why would Labour Cllrs not pursue this? Maybe she has things on them too?
